This just in, straight out of Boston:
When Ortiz was questioned about how the year was going, he said, "the division is ours and nobody will stop us. I mean we just an up and coming star the one and only JBJ leading the team in batting average. We got a young stud Moncada coming back from injury after a very hot start." We all know Ortiz is retiring after the year, hes been the face of the Red Sox for many years and now that legacy is being passed down to JBJ to be the face of the team.
Red Sox manager J Farrell had only one thing to say, "we aint worried bout nothing. Toronto cant stop us, Orioles cant stop us. And Tampa is iffy, but you know what? I'm making 2.5 mil a year. If i need to pay a few umpires to throw it my way I will. He immediately asked if this was off the record."
So there it is. The question now is who in the AL East is going to stop them????

The Blue Jays Make a Blockbuster Trade after Atrocious Start to the Season

The Jays trade Devon Travis, Chris Colabello, and fan favourite Jose Bautista late last night for Kris Medlen, Alcides Escobar, and Lorenzo Cain. They then made another trade trading away the man who never ages R.A Dickey who some say is really Chuck Norris in disguise for Brad Peacock. We got a few words in from John Gibbons, the new Owner John Smith and a few of the players. Gibbons was not too happy, after a 5-26 start to the season it's understandable.
Gibbons - "You know, for this whole year it's just been embarrassing. I don't know what happened. 5-26 is awful. Do I think we still have a chance at playoffs? HELL NO i don't. But these trades were towards our future. Did you see the raise Bautista wanted? He wasn't going to re-sign here. It was a matter of time. Hopefully Cain can get on base, that would be more then I can say for most of our players at the moment! A changed needed to happen."
Mr.Smith - "We have a plan for this ball club, we needed some players who could get on base, and steal and that's what we got. We wish Joey Bats all the best, this was very hard to do but it needed to be done. We got a couple of guys from a championship team, they will bring experience and hopefully we can turn this ship around"
Jose Bautista - "I loved playing in Toronto but we just couldn't get a new deal done, I was tired of giving "home discounts". KC won the World Series last year, I look forward to being a leader on that team, and hopefully Mr. Ailsby will give me the money that I want and deserve, and I can finish my career there."
Lorenzo Cain - "I am excited to be going to Toronto and helping to turn this team around. If we can start winning some games and putting a streak together you never know what can happen. We just need momentum. I see all the skill in the world on this ball club."
R.A Dickey aka Chuck Norris - "Man I am going to keep playing until I am 60, as long as I have my Knuckleball and a glass of whiskey in between innings I am happy. I am headed to the Astros. For god sakes have you seen the amount of arguments the owner has been in with other gms? That right there tells me there is a lot of alcohol involved and It already feels like home."
We tried to reach out to the KC owner Mr Ailsby on Bautista wanting a 150 mill contract, we didn't get a response. We hope his heart is okay. Also couldn't get a response from the Astros on being drunk, but hey who can take Dickeys word on anything?
